Los días nublados es el resultado de la exploración, conversación y derivas a partir de los cuadernos de Santiago Porter. El cuaderno como espacio de existencia de la obra por venir, de la reflexión sobre el propio hacer y las coyunturas histórico políticas recientes.

Y en un momento dado, el libro aparece: aparece en el mundo, multiplicándose con el rotar entintado de la imprenta. Antes (y después) de ese momento, la existencia de la obra es múltiple: el cuaderno, el ensayo, el balbuceo, las copias de trabajo y los garabatos, son también parte de esa realidad del arte de emitir. En esta pluralidad de existencias aparecen las imágenes, los dibujos, las escrituras. Podemos pensar que nada antecede ni que existen jerarquías. ¿Cómo detener provisoriamente ese movimiento, ponerlo en suspenso, para construir una maqueta final, transferirla a una chapa y luego al papel?

*Los días nublados* is the result of exploration, conversation, and digressions stemming from Santiago Porter’s notebooks. The notebook serves as a space where the work-to-be-created exists, a space for reflection on one’s own practice and recent historical and political circumstances.

And at a certain moment, the book appears: it appears in the world, multiplying with the ink-stained rotation of the printing press. Before (and after) that moment, the work’s existence is multifaceted: the notebook, the essay, the stammering, the working copies, and the scribbles are also part of that reality of the art of creation. Within this plurality of existences, images, drawings, and writings emerge. We might think that nothing precedes them or that hierarchies exist. How can we temporarily halt that movement, put it on hold, in order to construct a final mockup, transfer it to a plate, and then to paper?
